written by Mitchell P. Laks, MD, PhD, of Montefiore Medical Center.
He used:
DBI::Postgresql Perl module to access the WUSTL CTN DICOM server
dcmtk C++ lib to extract data/images from DICOM files
PDL Perl module to crunch data arrays
POGL to render 3D volumetric images
